LOGICAR is a vehicle logistics provider based in Pinneberg, in the Hamburg metropolitan area. We move single cars, vans and commercial vehicles across Germany, Austria and Switzerland — either driven on their own wheels by a vetted driver, or loaded onto a transporter. Every job includes a photo condition report at collection and delivery, live tracking, and a fixed price quoted before you commit.

Enquiries by phone and email are handled in English. Everything else — the detailed service pages, the online order form and the handover paperwork — is in German, and the drivers on the road speak German.
We would rather say that up front than have you find out at the point where it matters. If your German is limited, write to us by email: that way you have the quote and the terms in writing and can read them at your own pace.
The service
Which one applies depends on whether the car is registered and roadworthy — and on whether you mind it gaining mileage.

A vetted driver collects the car and drives it to the destination. This is the cheaper option because no transporter is tied up for the route. The vehicle does gain real mileage.

The vehicle travels as cargo. This is the option for cars that are not registered, not roadworthy, or that should not gain mileage — a new car, a classic, a lease return being valued.
Where we operate
Those three countries are regular operation: we quote them, we schedule them, we drive them. Our base is in Pinneberg, just outside Hamburg, so northern German collections start without a long approach — which shows up in both the price and how quickly we can schedule.
Other European countries are handled on request. France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Italy and Poland come up regularly. We will tell you honestly whether a route works and what it takes, rather than accepting it and sorting it out later.
Liability cover for the transport is held with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG and applies in the EU, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom.

Collection and delivery address, make, model and year, whether the car is registered and roadworthy, and your preferred date or window. Email is the practical route if you would rather have everything in writing.

Every job is calculated individually — there is no flat rate. You get a binding fixed price before you commit, and it holds as long as the details of the job do not change.

At collection the driver documents the condition with photos and a digital signature. From then on you can follow location, status and estimated arrival without phoning to ask.

A second condition report is taken at delivery in the same structure. Both records stay available as evidence, which is what settles any later question about when a mark appeared.

Yes, as cargo on a transporter. Driving a vehicle on its own wheels requires valid registration and roadworthiness; without them the car travels loaded. Tell us the status when you ask for a price, because it decides which of the two methods applies.
Yes. Carrier liability cover is held with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG and applies in the EU, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. Note the distinction: ordinary motor third-party insurance covers damage to others, not damage to the vehicle being moved — that requires exactly this kind of carrier liability cover, which standard policies routinely do not include.
Routes into and out of Germany from neighbouring countries are handled on request rather than as regular scheduled operation. Send us both addresses and the vehicle details and we will tell you whether we can take it and what the fixed price would be, instead of accepting first and checking later.

The online order form is in German and its address lookup is limited to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, so for anything outside that, email is the way.
